1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting fingerscandigitallasvegas.com, scheduling an appointment, or using any service provided by FingerScan Digital Inc. Las Vegas ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our website or services.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services. These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, and others who access or use our services.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

2. Services Description

FingerScan Digital Inc. Las Vegas provides professional fingerprinting and document preparation services including, but not limited to, the following:

Live-Scan Fingerprinting

Digital live-scan fingerprinting for employment background checks, professional licensing, government applications, immigration, and other lawful purposes. Services are performed by trained technicians using certified equipment in compliance with applicable state and federal requirements.

FBI Channeler Services

As an FBI-approved channeling agency, we submit fingerprints electronically to the FBI Identity History Summary database for background check purposes. Results are provided based on the FBI's processing timeline. Same-day results are available in most cases but are not guaranteed.

Apostille Services

We assist clients with obtaining apostille certification for documents intended for international use, through filing with the Nevada Secretary of State. Turnaround times are subject to the Secretary of State's processing schedule and may vary.

Passport Renewal Assistance

We provide passport photos, form preparation guidance, and submission package assistance for U.S. passport renewals and new applications. We are not a U.S. Department of State passport acceptance facility. Final submission and processing is handled by the U.S. government; we do not control processing times or outcomes.

Mobile Fingerprinting and Document Preparation Services

We offer on-site mobile fingerprinting services throughout the Las Vegas metropolitan area, including Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, and surrounding communities. Mobile service is subject to availability and may require a minimum number of participants for group bookings. Travel fees may apply depending on location.

We reserve the right to decline service to any individual at our discretion, including in cases where we cannot verify identity, where service would violate applicable law, or where prior conduct warrants refusal.

3. Appointment & Cancellation Policy

Scheduling

Appointments may be scheduled online through our Square booking system, by phone at (702) 965-2448, or by email. Walk-in clients are welcome during regular business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM) subject to availability. Saturday appointments are by appointment only; we are closed on Sundays.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

We ask that you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. This allows us to offer the time slot to other clients. You may cancel or reschedule through the Square booking link in your confirmation email, by calling us, or by emailing us.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, we may need to reschedule your session depending on our schedule. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate late arrivals when our schedule permits.

No-Shows

Repeated no-shows without cancellation notice may result in a requirement to prepay for future appointments or refusal of future bookings at our discretion.

Mobile Service Cancellations

For mobile fingerprinting appointments, we require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice for mobile appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover travel preparation costs.

Company Cancellations

In the event we must cancel or reschedule an appointment due to staff illness, equipment issues, or other circumstances, we will contact you as soon as possible and work with you to find an alternative time at no additional charge.

4. Payment Terms

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept cash, major credit cards, and debit cards. Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance for corporate or group accounts.

Service Fees

Service fees are established at the time of booking. Pricing is subject to change without notice. Current pricing is available by calling our office or inquiring at the time of booking. Fees for government agency submissions (e.g., FBI channeler fees) are separate from our service fee and may be collected on behalf of the applicable agency.

Group and Corporate Invoicing

For group mobile fingerprinting engagements of five (5) or more individuals, invoice billing may be available for pre-approved corporate clients. Contact us in advance to discuss billing arrangements.

Refunds

Fees for services already rendered are non-refundable. If a fingerprint scan is rejected by the receiving agency due to print quality, we will re-scan at no additional charge during the same visit or at a rescheduled appointment. Fees paid to government agencies for processing are non-refundable by us, as those fees are controlled by the respective agency.

Returned Payments

Returned checks or declined payments are subject to a returned payment fee. Any outstanding balances must be resolved before additional services are provided.

5. Privacy & Data Collection

The collection, use, and protection of your personal and biometric information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you acknowledge and consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

Biometric Data

Fingerprint data captured during live-scan sessions is transmitted directly and securely to the requesting government agency (e.g., FBI, Nevada Department of Public Safety). We handle all biometric data in compliance with applicable federal and Nevada state law. We do not sell, share, or retain biometric data beyond what is legally required or operationally necessary.

Identity Verification

A valid, government-issued photo ID is required for all fingerprinting services. You consent to our verification and recording of identification information as required by law and by the requesting agency's guidelines.

Consent to Electronic Submission

By scheduling a fingerprinting service, you authorize FingerScan Digital Inc. Las Vegas to submit your fingerprint data electronically to the agency designated at the time of service on your behalf.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FingerScan Digital Inc. Las Vegas, its owners, employees, agents, and contractors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to your use of our services or website, including but not limited to:

• Delays, errors, or rejections by the FBI, Nevada Secretary of State, U.S. Department of State, or any other government agency in processing submissions made on your behalf.
• Any adverse outcome resulting from a background check, licensing decision, apostille determination, or passport application based on your submitted information.
• Inaccuracies in documents you provide to us for apostille or passport services.
• Loss of income, business opportunity, travel, or other consequential losses due to processing delays.
• Any technical issues, downtime, or errors on our website or third-party booking systems.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.

You waive any objection to the laying of venue in Clark County, Nevada, and agree that service of process may be effected by any legally permissible means.
