Live Scan & Ink Fingerprinting Las Vegas — NV DPS & FBI Approved
What is Live Scan Fingerprinting?
Live Scan fingerprinting is a digital method of capturing fingerprints electronically — no ink, no mess, and no waiting for cards to dry. Your fingerprints are captured using a specialized scanner and submitted electronically to the appropriate agency for processing.
FingerScan Digital Las Vegas is an approved NV DPS and FBI Live Scan fingerprinting provider serving Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Summerlin.
What is Ink Fingerprinting?

We offer ink fingerprinting for:
- FD-258 Fingerprint Cards — required for federal background checks and immigration
- C-216C Fingerprint Cards — required for certain out-of-state licenses and immigration purposes

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Live Scan and ink fingerprinting?
Live Scan captures fingerprints digitally and submits them electronically — faster and more accurate. Ink fingerprinting rolls inked fingers onto a physical card which is then mailed to the requesting agency. Most Nevada licensing boards require Live Scan. Ink cards are typically required for federal submissions, out-of-state licenses, and immigration purposes.
